Pricing, permits, what we do and do not do, and how a visit works. If it is not here, text us.
Estimates and pricing
Yes. For most jobs we quote from your description and a few photos the same day. For panel upgrades, rewiring and larger handyman projects we come out, look, and give you a written number before any work starts. No charge either way.
Flat rate per job for almost everything, so the number you approve is the number you pay. The only exception is troubleshooting, which is a flat diagnostic fee that is credited toward the repair.
No trip fee inside our service area. If you are outside it we tell you up front before we book.
Card, check, Zelle and cash. Nothing is due until the work is done and you have walked it with us.
Electrical
Yes. Cascade is a licensed, bonded and insured electrical contractor in Washington State. We can show you our L&I registration and certificate of insurance at the estimate.
Yes, for every job that requires one: panel changes, new circuits, EV chargers, hot tubs, generator hookups. We schedule the inspection and meet the inspector so you do not have to.
Level 2 chargers are our most common install. We confirm your panel has the capacity, run the circuit, mount the charger and set it up with you. Most installs are done in one visit.
Not always. Sometimes a subpanel or tandem breakers solve it. We look at the panel brand, age and load before recommending anything. Federal Pacific and Zinsco panels we do recommend replacing.
It can be. The usual cause is a loose or burnt connection somewhere upstream, which is a fire risk. Flip the breaker off for that area and book a troubleshooting visit.
Handyman
TV and shelf mounting, drywall repair and paint touch-up, door and hardware adjustments, faucet and fixture swaps, caulking, weatherstripping, small carpentry, and the punch list that has been sitting on your fridge.
Yes. A half day is four hours, a full day is eight. Send us the list and we tell you honestly how much fits.
Roofing, plumbing beyond fixture swaps, gas lines, HVAC and structural work. We are happy to point you to someone good.
